Hello! I am so excited about this new school year. It is such an honor to teach here at Fork Shoals School. We have a busy year ahead and so much fun awaits.
I am currently beginning my 27th year of teaching. It seems like only yesterday I stepped foot into my first classroom in Charleston, SC and now I am jumping into a new year at Fork Shoals. Throughout my teaching career I have taught 10 years in middle school and and the last 16 in elementary. I love teaching 5th grade as this is my 14th year with this age group.
My husband, Keith, and I have been married for 27 years and have 5 wonderful children. Our two oldest children are married, our middle son is at North Greenville University, and our two youngest are in middle and high school. We have two granddaughters. It is never a dull moment at our house.
Our family moved here from Myrtle Beach, SC during the summer. We are settling in nicely and look forward to tailgating at Death Valley as often as possible this fall. We are definitely Tiger fans, but we do pull for the Gamecocks when they are not playing Clemson.
I can't wait to get to know each of you better. It's going to be a great year!
